Kangaroo Land, Day 2 - Caversham & The Maze

On the second day, we go and get our rented car that we already booked earlier prior going from Bayswater Car rental..we planned to drive to Whiteman to visit the Kangaroos and Koalas at Caversham Wildlife Park..and then to The Maze..

this is Corolla Hatch that we rented, cost us AUD 189 for 3 days unlimited KM plus baby seat and GPS...the car is comfortable

its a compulsory for the kids to be in the baby seat in Australia..lucky I brought the video player so my litte boss here  entertained by her favourite cartoon, Upin Ipin :)

We reached Whiteman Park after 35 minutes driving from the Perth City

the trees here look a bit scary, maybe because of the colour of the trunk which is quite dark, almost black

Sara was sleeping still this time

this is the entrance to the wildlife park, which is situated in the Whiteman Park

on a weekend like this, this park is so quiet..weird, compared to Zoo Negara in KL, i need to que for almost 1 hour just to buy the ticket

AUD 23 per person

she is up and ready to meet mr Kangaroo and Koala

my naughty little Sara

its quite chilly here, even though the sun is bright

the kangaroo is freely hopping here and there..

we are heading to the Farm Show, started at 10.00 a.m

Sara giving lecture to the Kangaroo :)

she called this donkey, horse..hehe

me again..hehe..beside us there are a group of Indonesian on their tour

dia pun tak nak lepas peluang..to poseee...hehe

she show started, they will show us how they sheer the sheep

kesian all these sheep..later they will be bald..whole body

each sheep will be sheered only once a year

before this machine been invented, they sheer the ship manually using a tool called sheer(looks like a scissor)

this is how the fur looks like from one whole sheep, they import processed fur to many countries in the world and the top demand coming from China.

this cow name Debra, waiting for the 'milking' process to take place

this is the most fun activities for the kids..feeding the baby sheep.

we proceed to see the Wombat & friends show

this owl looks like a piece of wood

this cute animal is called golden possum..super cute and nice to hold, Sara enjoying patting the possum

hubby taking the chance to touch 'err i forgot the name' but also from Kangaroo family.

this uncle is holding a wombat..berat oo weighin average 20-30kg..sbb tu kena duduk jer :)..and for the picture, there will be one guy will help every visitors to snap picture..tak payah bayar..ngee

i like the greeny grass everywhere..sara dah letih jalan..rehat kejap

time for Kangaroo..I am so proud of Sara..tak takut lansung!

kan best kalau boleh bawak balik satu..haha

she is only half  size of the Kangaroo

hubby pun tak nak lepas peluang..they feed the kangaroo with food yang mcm dedak ayam tu..but bigger size

Sara in action

"peace" her version

yay..tgk koala pulaks

koala sleeps 20 hours everyday, this is because they only eat the leaves call "eucalyptus" which supply them only small amount of energy..so tido jek la keje pasal nak save energy..the 2 koalas on the right in this picture was actually sleeping :)

us three with the koalas..the caretaker here offer to snap our picture

tram services are also provided for the tourist to tour this Whiteman Park which is quite huge

That's the end of the day..we then head back to the city..

Kangaroo Land, Day 1 - Fremantle

Before I got married, Me & hubby had a plan to come to Australia for our honeymoon. However the work schedule did not permit us to proceed with the plan that time..and then we got our baby, so we got to postpone one more time..

Finally this year we made it to Aussie! clap clap..hehe..we chose Perth in stead of other famous places where Malaysian always go such as Sydney or Gold Coast..Perth is known as a peaceful place and another reason that we chose Perth is because the flight time is only 5 1/2 hours. So this will be a pilot test for Sara taking long flight journey :) ..and we want to celebrate Sara 2nd birthday in Perth :)

We took 11.55 p.m flight from KL and touched down Perth Airport at 5.30 a.m ..famous with the strict immigration procedures, the process took us almost 1 1/2 hours..Alhamdulillah, we passed :).. tips, make sure you declare all your food and for me, i packed our food in a box, so they will just open the box and not touching you luggage...

For this post, I would like to bring you guys through the beautiful pictures of Perth.

super clean environment and also its not jam pack like KL even at peak office hour!

Sara waiting for the train to Fremantle

Perth train station, serve as a transport hub, similar like KL Sentral..
the building looks old and antique, but well maintained

train from Perth City to Fremantle cost us AUD 3.80 per person, about RM 12..
you can also take a ferry to come to Fremantle at the Barrack Jetty

the train is quite spacious

hubby in the train :)

this is where we are heading, E Shed markets to buy souvenirs

inside the market, similar like our Central markets

my little Sara with her ride..and this cost me RM 6 per 5 minutes ride!

we bought  souvenirs  for family and friends at Megabes, cheaper compared to other shops there

more souvenirs available there

outside E-shed, place that we can lepak-lepak minum coffee

Sara dah tido lena, Mama and Babah continue jalan-jalan

along Fremantle Port, at the end there is the Maritime Museum

me in front of the Maritime Museum

Fremantle port from our camera view

my cutie pie

this pose was guided and instruct by my hubby..haha..
dunno why I posed like this in the middle of Fremantle town

no standing ler..

cute vehicle..i think its for tourist but we didn't try it

same as in the city, here pun tak jam, just 2 or 3 cars pass by sometimes..
the town is old, the building structure and design also from 1800 but very very well maintained

mr hubby in front of shipwreck museum

this is Cicerello's, place for fish & chips

one nice uncle offer to snap our picture..thanks uncle..

our lunch for that day..the portion is so big..
dunno why people always overrating said it is so good..to me its just taste like
normal fish and chips in Malaysia ;)

the tour tram..it is a hop on hop off concept.. will take you around fremantle
you can check out the details on the tours here :  http://fremantletrams.com/

after finished touring around the town, we head back to our Hotel for a good rest..see you in Day 2..

We had Joy,We had fun

When Air Asia announce its annual free seats sale last year, I managed to book 14 seats KL to Bandung, flying 30th March...I'm bringing my whole family including my auntie's family and also our new family member, sis in law, Raihan to visit the shopping heaven..this visit will be a family trip and also honeymoon for my brother Khazimi who just get married earlier, the same month..

We landed safely in Bandung as planned and the whether is bright and shine there..the Supir was already there waiting for us. we called him Pak Adi, such a nice man with a smile all the time..he straight away brought us to the apartment that I booked, named Cipedes apartment..the apartment was so huge, comfortable and clean..

We spend the day at the Trans Studio Bandung (indoor theme park), more or less like Genting..the place didnt tickle my fancy, but my brothers, sister and my auntie kids enjoyed it..Sara had a chance to enjoy few rides there..the other half day was spent with shopping la..apalagi kan :)

same goes to the other 2 days there..shopping, shopping, shopping and makan..but the food there didn't suit my taste bud sangat la..so just eat for the sake of eating..we bought so many things..lucky i bought extra luggage from Air Asia prior flying, or else kena top up with expensive fees charge by AA...our bag been stuffed by so many many things sampai mcm nak pecah!

we had fun there..even though it was a short trip..it was such a wonderful feeling to see my family had fun and happy..and also this is the first time for my hubby visiting Bandung and he had a great time hunting for tshirts and jeans..Pak Adi was so nice and patient with our perangai yg gila-gila..

hope we can do this again some other time in other place..some pictures taken there by our loyal photographer, my sweet hubby :)

Before I was a Mum

Before I was a mum, I never understand how something so small could effect my life...I never felt my heart break into million pieces to see her in pain when the doctor give her immunizations..

Before I was a mum, I stay up late at night watching midnight movies with friends, I never stay awake to check on baby body temperature every 15 minutes when she had high fever..

Before I was a mum, I never felt so rushing to go back home from office just to feed a hungry baby..I never felt so relieved to see her happy face running to hug me when I pick her up at Nanny's..

Now it has been 2 years I become a mum..life was never the same compared to before..Like what my Mak always said to me, the feeling is different. You will only feel it once you yourself become one. I never knew that I can love someone so much until I had Sara..she just turned 2 years old end of April and all the sweats and sleepless nights are worth it when I see her cute face sleeping so soundly beside me every night..

in Perth on her birthday

priceless moment

Moga Allah pelihara dan berkati hidup anak Mama..and Thank you Allah for bringing her in our life ..amin...

Love at First Sight

I believe in love at first sight, because I've been in love with my Mak since I've opened my  eyes..I am so close with her that sometimes I feel like she is my best friend in stead of mother..sharing all my ups and downs and also secrets since I was small until now, same goes to her..

The bond become closer when I had Sara, her new sweetheart..sharing stories about Sara almost everyday through phone, facebook or just sms will make her day..

My Mak is a funny and cheerful person but she was strict with us, her children when we were young. We cannot go to school, tuition, out to mall or anywhere far from house by ourselves. Camping, outing with friends or other 'near to dangerous activities', jauh sekali.

But alhamdulillah, all of us grew up to be 'human' :) ...thanks Mak for going through thick and thin to bring us up, patient with our perangai and always be there when we need you..

Just to let you know that there's never been a moment that I wasn't glad that you are my mum. I just wish I am near to you so that I see you and take care of you and bapak. But now we are 500km apart and can just talk over the phone to update daily news :(

Kakak doakan mak always in good health, panjang umur, murah rezeki and dapat pegi Haji this year as you and bapak wish..

Happy mother's day also to my mother in law grandmother,my aunty,Mazila, my grandmother and  to all the mothers in the world <3<3
